Australian CoastSafe has played an important role in managing the safety and operational risks at some of the country’s largest participation based sporting events, including the Australian Surf Life Saving Championships, NSW Surf Life Saving Championships and Rescue 2012 World Life Saving Championships as well as other aquatic community events including Sydney Harbour Australia Day activations for the NSW Department of Premier and Cabinet.

We work closely with the Australian Lifeguard Service, Australian First Aid Services and Australian Event Safety Services to ensure that the safety needs of event managers are met and delivered in compliance with event operating procedures, legislation and relevant Australian and International Standards.

We can assist with any stage of the safety risk management of your event and help you show defensible and due diligent risk practice, ensuring that you have mitigated your safety risks to a level that is as low as reasonably practical (ALARP) with the available resources.
